So. . .
You all know how Lauren works from home? Well this week, her company decided to try out having someone work a four-day, ten hour a day week with Fridays off. . .and they picked her! It's just until mid-November, but who knows. . .they might decide to keep it up. She's thrilled!
That sounds great for her!

Good morning Dot!

I see we had the same idea with our avatars - I tried to just put a ribbon on Nemo, but I couldn't make it look right, so I gave up on that idea.

No, it must have been crazy!

When she was a freshman in college, she and a friend decided to drive to NY to see the show on the spur of the moment. They got there and ran into total gridlock on the streets. The closest they could get to the show was to watch it on screens put up on street corners nowhere near Rockefeller Center. After the show was over, they ducked into a little coffee shop for some hot chocolate. When they were finished they used a door on the opposite side of the shop to leave. As they walked out they took a few steps and stopped in amazement. . .there right in front of them was the tree. . .the Rockefeller Center tree. It was their first view of it and here it was right in front of them. They just stood there gaping at it for a few seconds when they heard a voice say, "Enjoying the tree girls?". They looked down to see a stretch limo. . .with Nysnc's Joey Fatone leaning out the window asking them the question. Could you imagine???? They walked over to the car, and there inside was the rest of the group. They actually talked with them all for a few moments till a passing group of girls realized who was in the car and made a screaming beeline for it, at which Joey said good bye and rolled up the window. Quite a night for my little girl!
