Seasonal Pass Questions

I am going to Disney on the 6-9th, and was considering getting a seasonal pass. Other than the blackout dates, what is the difference between it, and an anual pass? I am a Florida resident, and I live 3 hours away, so I only go 2-5 times a year (for 3 day visits). Could anyone help me learn more about the differences?

We always get the seasonal pass. Less $$ and the blackout dates are times I wouldn't be there for free. Too hot or too crowded. The free parking isn't even an issue because we stay on property. A no brainer for me. By the way last year the money saved purchased a waterpark annual pass. Enjoy your trip we'll be there the next week.

I will be there next week too. What sort of discounts does the seasonal pass allow? what discounts do you get with the anual pass? can you use a seasonal pass to get into anual pass events?

everything that the AP offers.

Go to Disney's main website and look up the Passholders section to see what the discounts are.

Yes. The only thing we lose with a SP compared to the AP is the blackout dates and the free parking. Stay onsite and the parking is not an issue. We also have SP's and we wouldn't be going during the blackout dates either because of the crowds and/or weather.

Parking and blockout are the main differences. Parking is now $10, so being a FL resident, I got the AP, even though I don't visit the parks during blockout much, It was cheeper to pay extra for the AP then it would have been to pay for the parking, as I take 15-20 day trips per year.

Premium AP's also include DisneyQuest, Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon, and Pleasure Island.

all passes include the same discounts, including waterpark and other discounts (if you don't have the premium).
