Seasonal Blackout Lifted Early?

I've read a couple posts on usenet saying the FL Resident Seasonal passes would have the Summer blackout lifted early, perhaps as much as a month early. Has anyone heard anymore information on this? I checked the official web page and didn't see anything but the passholder pages aren't updated all that often anyway. The date on the passes is August 18th so if it's a month early they work right now - so should I drive over today or not?

I would call at least three times before going. If you get three yes answers that its been lifted go. If you get 2 out of three yes, take a risk. If you get 1 out of three....ask to speak to a supervisor....

Yup, went over this afternoon and got in Epcot and MK with no troubles. We haven't seen a postcard yet, does it give an explanation why they're doing it? It's not like attendance is down, the parks were July super-sized as you'd expect. We were over the first day they opened them back up too bad we didn't know.
