Seasonal Attraction Overlays

I don't get the hate for the Nightmare before Christmas overlay. I got to see it for the first time last year and I truly enjoyed it. It's a temporary alteration from the norm and can be a nice change.

I enjoyed it to when I got to see it. The reasons are: Some people aren't fans of the franchise, some people do like Nightmare but don't like how Christmas is celebrated during Halloween, classic version is only available for half of the year, and WDW is the flagship resort where people want everything to stay classic since it's the "tourist destination."

I am of the opinion that seasonal overlays should never be used for attractions. If you want to decorate the rest of the parks, have at it-I have been to WDW during the Halloween & Christmas seasons (in the span of 1 week-Halloween for the first couple of days, then Christmas for the rest of the trip, which was a bit strange), and the parks looked great, all decked out. When I ride JC or HM, even though I've been on them many times, I want the original experience, not some IP that I may not like and holiday theming that doesn't make sense (Christmas in the jungle?)

Well the reason why there's Christmas in the jungle is because the skippers, who are away from home, want to celebrate the holidays and there was a lost shipment of decorations that made its way into the jungle, but I see your point.
