Season Pass Question

Hey there!
Me and my husband and 4 year old are heading up to Disney on Wed. to meet up with some family that are in town from NY. We just moved back to south FL and we want to but Season Passes for all of us, I used to have one like 10 years ago. How does it work again, I know the rules on what it is and when to use it, but I mean when you go to purchase it when you get to the park.
Do you just go to the window and purchase them and then go to a separate place to have the picture taken for the pass?
Any passholders that can clue me in. Thanks!

You can get it at any Guest Relations desk, not just the parks. And they no longer take pictures, it's just the biometric finger scan. You will however have to show valid Florida or Military IDs (you can't just use a power bill). Have fun.

thanks! But I cant get it online and for the certificate in the mail, cause we are going like a day from now.
I am guessing I can get them at the Disney hotel desk, but we wont be checking in till later in the day and planning on driving right to the park in the AM.
Can you buy the passes at the Disney stores?

I'm almost positive that you can buy the annual passes at the gate of any of the parks. I had my 3 day play pass upgraded to a seasonal at the guest relations @ MGM in December. I'm not sure about buying them at the Disney Store.

FL resident passes MUST be purchased in one of the following manners:
-Telephone 1-407-W-DISNEY
-internet www.disneyworld.com
-Any Guest Relations windor or Ticket window at Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom, or Downtown Disney. You may not purchase FL Resident annual/seasonal passes at a Resort.

If you order through the internet or phone, you will be given vouchers. Redeem these vouchers at any guest relations or ticket window (again NO RESORTS), and show your FL Resident ID to obtain the pass.

If you're a member, you can get them at any AAA office in Florida at a slight discount.
