Seafood....

So I have all our ADRs worked out except one. My DH wants to go to a good seafood restaurant but had to change his pick of Fulton's because it's signature dining. As a matter of fact it looks like most of the seafood restaurants are signature so I need help finding a table service (we'll be on the dining plan) that has great seafood. Incidentally, I do not eat seafood at all so I really will be depending on what you say. And we have already eaten at the Cape May Clam Bake and Coral Reef but we are hoping to try some place new. Thanks!

If you're looking for a good seafood place, try BLU in the Dolphin. The food is good, and they are on the DDP. That's if you want to go outside the parks.

Try Flying Fish on the Boardwalk! Also on the DPP 2 meal credits.

Bluezoo does not accept the dining plan. OP also specified that they're looking for a non-signature meal, which Bluezoo certainly is.

OP, my suggestion for a 1-credit seafood meal would have been Coral Reef, but I see you've already been there.

My favorite spots in Disney for good seafood are Flying Fish and bluezoo. Bluezoo is a better experience overall, by far, but I think Flying Fish is marginally better if you're looking only for food (that is to say, you don't plan on spending any time in a lounge, nor do you care about a more romantic dining room). These are both signature level experiences, though, and as @Sweet Melissa state above me, bluezoo does not accept the dining plan. They are both well worth out-of-pocket dollars, though.

For a non-signature seafood experience, you will be hard-pressed to find an extensive seafood menu outside of Coral Reef. Some of the resort restaurants have a couple good options, though. Olivia's Cafe at Old Key West comes to mind. I would recommend that one.

Right, I don't even know what else there is with a kind-of-good seafood selection for one credit. Captain's Grille? Captain Jack's? I wouldn't recommend either. Maybe the Wave? I think they have a couple fish dishes but it's not a seafood restaurant.

You could try Captain's Grille at Yacht Club. I've never eaten there for dinner, though breakfast is usually pretty good, and I can't imagine it would be bad. I believe it also only requires one credit. Most places have non seafood options that are pretty decent given the number of people allergic to fish.

WDW doesn't have the most wonderful seafood, unless it's signature IMHO. I guess because seafood ( as well as steak) is just so expensive. We truly enjoyed Flying Fish Cafe. The food was prepared perfectly! The crabcake appetizer was yummy.:)

I was going to ask when you are going, because if Copper River Salmon is in season you can get it at Artist Pallet.

Bui then I remembered that is a signature as well, so that shoots that idea out of the water.

I am a big fan of Fultons but have missed it the last two trips. This year my mom is coming for half the trip and the Wednesday we are there it is our anniversary so we (just me and dh) are going to bar and appetizer hop all over Downtown Disney in the evening. Fulton's is def at the top of the list!

Coral Reef I also use to enjoy but they added even more tables and now are even more packed like sardines:D

I was going to suggest Cape May Buffet until I got to the end of your post and saw you had already been there and didn't want to repeat it. It would seem to suit both your needs. We loved it.

Flying Fish, Todd English's Bluezoo at the Dolphin are not bad choices as they are very good seafood restaurants. Recommend Flying Fish Cafe over Bluezoo for me

Tomi, unfortunately the best seafood restaurants on property are signature, e.g. Fulton’s, Flying Fish, Blue Zoo. Some of the resort restaurants might be an alternative however. The Wave, the Kona Café and the Captain’s Grille have 1 or 2 fish entrees on their menus as does the 50’s Prime Time Café. Other alternatives would be the QS Yorkshire fish shoppe or the Columbia Harbour House.

Thanks, all! I'll show DH the menus and go from there I guess. Maybe we can swing Fulton's or Flying Fish by giving up another TS, looks like I have some more planning to do. Oh, how I hate that! ; )
