Seafood Help

We are going to for a visit in a couple months. My husband would like to eat at a seafood restaurant while we are there but we are not sure where to eat. I've read conflicting reviews about Coral Reef but consistent reviews about Flying Fish. The problem is we want to eat at a park. Is there any other Seafood places in the parks? If not, is Coral Reef good in your opinion? Any other suggestions for on property seafood?

Coral Reef was fantastic when I was there in June :) It was one of my favorite restaurants of the whole trip. Here's part of my trip report, where I talked about it:

Then it was time for dinner:

At Coral Reef! Yes, this was the view directly in front of our table! Right by the tank! I was a little too excited about that LOL.

Our server brought us two flutes of champagne for our anniversary, but in addition, I had this awesome drink:

It's called a magical star cocktail. It was very fruity and possibly my favorite drink of the whole trip! There's a light up cube in there that changes colors. The drink went from blue, to red, to pink. I got to keep the cube :)

DH had the Mahi Mahi for dinner and said it was fantastic:

and I had the Sriracha Shrimp for my meal. It's an appetizer, but it came with six huge shrimp, and by the time we add in the batter it's fried in, that's about all I can handle at a time anyway, so it was perfect:

In the park Coral Reef is you're best bet, in DTD there is Fulton's and on the Boardwalk, right behind the World Showcase, Flying Fish and Blue Zoo and also Cape May Cafe. Hope this helps.

By eliminating places such as Flying Fish, you indicate that you don't want to pass through a park gate. Coral Reef is generally okay for fish - but you are paying a lot for the view of the tank. All the 'in-park' dining places are generally okay - but nothing spectacular. It is well worth the effort to pass through a park gate and visit the restaurants in the resort hotels and the Flying Fish on the Boardwalk or Fulton's at Down Town Disney.

You can't compare Coral Reef to the signatures, it will lose everytime.

If you want excellent seafood then going signature is the better choice but it is significantly more expensive. Fulton's, Flying Fish, Bluezoo, & Narcoossee's...
But we do Coral Reef every other year. Never had a bad time. It is good food.

We don't have many days in Disney this year so we wanted to make the most of the visit by staying in the parks but we were considering a signature restaurant... Decisions decisions!!
