My DH wants to take our kids to sea world for the day they are 4.5 and 2.5. I haven't been to a Sea world since the late 80s in San Diego. Any tips or things that are must dos for LOs? Favorite spots to eat etc? This is a last minute addition to our trip so I'm thrown for a loop.

im pretty sure both are still available to guests but not positive as i have not been in several years but they have/had a sting ray and a dolphin feeding area where you could buy squids and either toss them to the dolphins or hold your hand on the bottom of the ray tank and feel them suck the squids up out of your hand, both were fun and i saw several kids doing it, even though your kids are pretty young i think they'd probably still like seeing the dolphins splashing around and watching people feed them. the shows are also very entertaining.

Make sure they visit Shamu's Happy Harbor to get to enjoy all the child's rides. Lots of fun there for the little ones. Defiantly stop by Dolphin Cove to feed the dolphins. If you don’t want to take do that at least take them to the wall to see them. It’s amazing to see them up close. Make sure they see One Ocean and Pets Ahoy is really great for children. What time of year are you going? Also be on the lookout especially over by the Sea Garden for surprise experiences by SeaWorld's animal ambassadors. They are not scheduled but usually you can find them right after the Shamu Show located by the Sea Garden. You can get up close to some wild animals and sometimes pet them. Be sure to talk to educators by the exhibits (under water viewing at Shamu Show, Dolphin nursery etc.) to learn more and sometimes they have special cards on the animals to give to the children to learn more If you will be there during the Christmas Celebration you will have even more to do too. Let me know and I can give recommendations for that as well. I go three times a week and really know the parks well. Please ask if you have any questions.

Ok. Christmas Celebration does not start till later in November. Make sure to visit Wild arctic. The ride will be too intense for the children but See the Beluga Whales, Polar bear etc. Its really neat. Also if Wild Arctic does not have a crazy long line be sure to take them there. See the penguins up clsoe without a barrier between you is so cool. Getting to hear them and feeling the cold seeing how fast they swim its so neat. For shortest waits go either first thing in the morning or right before closing. Middle of the day waits are usually around 45 - 60 minutes. Its not a thrilling thrill ride but its still fun and the highlight of the ride is the end where you get to see the penguins and expereince the cold. :) I hope this helps. Your going to have so much fun.

You must push for it on your next trip! SeaWorld is an incredible experience for kids that will stay with them. I took my 3 nieces to SeaWorld this past summer along with the 4 Disney parks, and both of the Universal Parks. And the 3 things my 3 nieces took away from it were 1. Despicable Me 2. Antarctica 3. Feeding Dolphins

It was so much fun!
