I'm going to be visiting sea world for the first time in two weeks for one day. I was wondering if anyone was aware of any websites with a one day tour plan or had any tips on how to approach the park. I appreciate any help.

The park isn't that complicated to plan for. Do the two big rides first thing. Otherwise, get a show schedule early and base your day around the times of the shows you want to view since SW is mainly a show oriented park. Fill the gaps in between with nearby exhibits.

you have to understand, Sea World is a huge park, so there will be a lot of walking, but the park is very nice and you get to see a lot of really cool animals

thanks guys. Do any of you have any recommendations as to where I should start? Is it important to get there early when the park opens?? Will it be easy seeing everything in one day?? Last but not least how often are the animal shows?

I cant tell you how often cuz it changes, but if you like rides start in the back on Kraken and Journey of Atlantis before the lines get long. I dont know if you'll be able to see the entire park in one day, I mean you'll see it but I dont know if you'll get to expierence all the attractions. I do recomend the feeding the dolphins, that is so cool! Catch, the Shamu Adventure, its great, Pets Ahoy, too. The Waterfront is also very nice, but its only food, shops, and the tower ride.

Yes, get there early! The park closes early too and it´s hard to see all in one day, specially because you have to adjust your day to the show times.

Don´t miss the Shamu show and Seamore and Clyde. There is also another one with people on skiis (sp?).
Feed the dolphins and ride Kraken and Journey to Atlantis.
Don´t forget to visit the Hospitality Center for some free Budweiser beer. :animwink:

Have fun!

The ski show was cancelled when construction of the Waterfront started and has now been permenentally ended

Just know that Sea World can get to be very crowded, and shows can fill up and the lines for rides, especially Journey to Atlantis get really long, really fast! So get there early and plan on making a day of it, but you'll have a great time!

Sea World is a great experience, to get the best use of time you have to hit Atlantis and Kraken early, then do as everybody recommends, which is work your way around the sit down shows, based on the times in the programme. You will probably just have to work this out on the day! You can take in the other aquarium type exhibits as you move from show to show. We have only been at very busy times (Easter and August) but other than the first two rides mentioned above, you should manage OK!
One word of advise, if you can get into the shows 15 mins or so before they start, its worth the effort, because the "pre-shows" are brilliant too!
