SDMT Question

Not to get too bogged down in the semantics, but I don't believe that the Storytime with Belle will have a FP, correct? In all the previews, no one has mentioned a secondary FP entrance. Of the other two new M&Gs (not counting Ariel's since it's a more basic one that existed before), I suspect the Princess Storytale Hall will have FP (just like they do in Town Square) but Pete's Sillysideshow will not (but I could be wrong).

Another way of looking at it is, which new attractions will have FP? I think the answer is Dumbo, Little Mermaid, 7DMT and Princess Fairytale Hall, but other new attractions built as part of the FLE will not have FP. Any insiders can feel free to correct me.

I'm glad that Belle will get one. It looks like that could have some monstrous waits. That meet/show may end up as our first fastpass of any MK day for a few years. . . well, until my 3 year old DD gets older (or at least shyer).

On the other hand, it seems hard to understand why they would choose to put one on TLM. Standby can't be that long, or am I missing something?

Please everyone please... I have realized the error of my ways and therefore yield. Every attraction in all of new fantasyland will have fastpass. This is not up for discussion, not table side at Gastons Tavern, not in a forum on a message board. I apologize if I may have ruffled any of the jolly old feathers of any contributors, premium or otherwise. ...but if anyone can tell me where the Fantasyland RR fast pass kiosk is I'd be forever grateful, even though I love waiting in that next gen queue.

My answer to this question (since I do not work for WDI nor do I pretend I have all the answers) is that every "coaster" on property has fastpass so one can assume so too will the mine train. In preperation for Next Gen, tons of new attractions are getting FP so it's an excellent chance. I believe I've even heard that some M&G locations will have it so slowly the definition of an attraction is changing. One could even say that technically, via ADRs, restaurants do have fastpass options and with Next Gen, attractions can have ADR-like reservations. Ultimately the line is slowly blurring so looking at what is true today will not necessarily predict what will be true tomorrow.

This is my opinion [admittedly uninformed], as well. There has been no indication that this coaster will be a high-capacity ride (yeah, I said "ride," 'cuz I'm a total rebel, yo!), nor can I imagine how it could safely be. Assuming its capacity and loading time will be similar to Big Thunder, it will have to be a Fastpass attraction.

I am almost certain that SDMT will have an interactive queue as it will be the main draw in Fantasyland once open. They also have a decent amount of room to have quite a bit of the line in the caves, which should allow for interaction and a queue people wont mind (in air conditioning).

Main point of the thread. 7DMT will have a fastpass/next gen queue.

If a certain poster wants to entertain the notion that the Fantasyland RR is a "new" attraction, or that Beast's Castle is an attraction and not just a restaurant, well then by all means Be Our Guest!

It's looking like anything with a queue will have Fastpass Plus. With this being new, hopefully they design it well so that the lines will run smoothly.
