Just kidding, hopefully he's getting some kind of performance upgrade or being made a little more resilient. Does that area of the queue look odd without him?
P.S. I adore that Mermaid queue. It's the best part of that ride.

Hey, this is one of the most advanced animatronics at WDW. I'm surprised they were even able to remove him since the entire structure was built around Scuttle.

Hey @Scuttle where you hiding at? Are you playing with your Dinglehoppers and Snarfblats again instead of telling us the story of Airel and joking with us in the queue? Jk ing with ya. Yeah probably just getting some maintenance on it. To be quite honest, I don't believe the majority of animatronics in this NFL even lasted longer than a couple weeks. Pretty sad. The worst I think though is the Wardrobe. She was intended to play a big role by setting you up for who you were playing in the show and they say that "her eyes are frozen". Check out the New Fantasyland: Effects not working thread then you'll know what I mean.
its a little odd cause the room diffidently looks like where he sits is supposed to be the focal point but if you have never known that he was there you probably wouldnt notice him missing

OK, I get the "workin' the bugs out" part of things like this, but shouldn't that, mostly, if not all, have been done BEFORE the attraction opened? ESPECIALLY on an AA this simple...
