When I was at WDW last Sunday, I noticed that the scream in the attic was missing. Anyone know anything about hits?

He's probably referring to the part in the stretching rooms ("there's always my way"). The last time I was there, the body seemed to have been removed (or maybe that was just an error).

They were there when I was on my trip a few weeks ago. Interesting that they would be missing, possibly a glitch in the system.

When i went, the screams were in the attic, it was just that late scream that they used to have has been removed.

For exampl, sometimes it would go: Ah AH.......Ah!

It sounds like some one having a hard time sneezing.

We noticed in Dec. that the scream that happens when the dead guy in the top hat and tie jumps up behind a gravestone in the cemetary was not there...you could only hear the hydrolics hissing when he popped up.

The scream in the attic was there when I went on the ride August 15. I remember because I'm never sure (well...now I am) that it's programed to do that or if it's a kid/adult screaming! LOL Silly me for thinking that! :hammer:

I've heard it sometimes and then not others. I always ride it a couple times when I go and I've gone quite a few times this year (moreso earlier this year before my passes expired) and I always ride HM at least twice.

I don't know why it makes noise sometimes and not others but I've seen it in the last months both ways.

Wow...how you all remember such detail is beyond me. I was just there and I believe the screams were there. The reason why I say this is because I thought they actually say variations of "I do" since it is the bride, and I was trying to hear that. I couldn't make them out, though.

They do say "I do" in the DL version. This started, evidently, in the DLP version. There is also a creepy version of the wedding march playing on a broken piano. Personally I like the scream and the heart-beat, it makes it creepier.

For a sample of the audio try:

I can't think of which room you are considering the "attic" (except the one in the stretching room, which I know is not the "attic" to which you are all refering). Please tell me what else is in the "attic," so that I can remember which room it is.

Thanks,
Paul

I was at the Mansion on August 28th and there was NO impact sound after the scream at the end of the stretching room sequence. I went again on September 1st and I heard it.
On another note, the Mansion seemed to be faster, brighter, and warmer than I remember it. The omnimovers need to be slowed down, the AC needs to be turned on, and someone needs to dim the lights in the first parts of the ride.

You know, where the Bride is and the bats flying around in the bellfry? That's the attic. Because then you exit down and if you look to the right, you see the upper windows of the attic where you just were.

They have a ghost who pops up on the right side in the attic as well as on the left. They normally pop up and "scream" at the same time, though I've noticed not always. It's supposed to startle you but you know, it doesn't really. Or at least not someone who's been on it 500 times or so anyway!

They also have some ghosts that pop up at the end in the graveyard but I don't know if they really scream or not...seems to me that you mainly hear the singing bust heads and stuff there rather then the screams.

Anyway, hope that helps.
