SCREAM EARLY - Do they check FL residency?

I bought 2 frequent fear passes and one ticket for Oct 21st using my AP discounts. I'd like to add the scream early option ($10 to get to islands of adventures at 4pm) for oct 21st, but one person in my party is not a FL resident. Do they really check for FL residency at the gate of IoA?

You can upgrade the ticket. Just go with your friend and use your FL ID. No, they don't check for FL ID at the turnstiles.

They were checking opening night for the AP party and other similar type things. I am not assuming. I saw it.

they do not check,just got back,if one person charged a bunch of tickets on there card,they will ask for the id of the person who charged it,because there name will be on each ticket. just showed my credit card and i was good to go.
