Scooby-Doo World [MONSTER RALLY PARADE AT UNIVERSAL FLORIDA]

It’s October, which means everyone is gearing up for Halloween (literally “All Hallows Eve,” which is the night before All Saints Day). I have watched Scooby-Doo most of my life, so naturally all the monsters from the TV series and movies come to mind. The Mystery Inc. gang solves mysteries in many different locations, all around the world. So in a similar vein to my Bible World project, I thought it would be fun to think through which episode/monster (priority given to the early seasons) could be showcased at the Disney attractions around the world.

Rather than re-working the rides, my task is pretty straight forward—just to list which monster belongs to which ride. If you are unfamiliar with a monster, you can check out Scoobypedia (https://scoobydoo.fandom.com/wiki/Scoobypedia). I did hint at this project at an earlier time:
For the Scooby-Doo fans, I’ll have to post my Scooby-Doo plans at some point.
Hope you enjoy! Rooby-Roo!

Slightly offtopic, but I wonder how the rights for the Peanuts and Snoopy works. Disney owns the newest Peanuts movie (thanks to Blue Sky), but I don't think they can use them in a park.

I think Knotts Berry Farm owns them in the states and Universal has the overseas rights.

Whoops, I was thinking Snoopy instead of Scooby. I didn't have enough coffee this morning I guess.

Interesting take on Scooby and the theme parks. I've definitely never thought about it that way.

P.S. I guess it's lucky I put the offtopic comment.

Disney could use the Peanuts gang in the European theme parks.

Very cool, I love reading through the listings. There's so much you can do with the theming and sections. Jinkies, there could even be a whole section dedicated to Halloween!

I think you could definitely do something with Blue Falcon and Dynomutt as well. I love those guys, they remind me of Batman and Robin. The only big difference is that Falcon's sidekick... is a dog.

"The Addams Family" (if possible) or "Haunted House Hang-Up" could work for Haunted Mansion as well. The latter one even has a "Headless Spectre" in the episode, that could be used to supplement Sleepy Hollow Refreshments.

Meanwhile Asia at AK could be a whole Snow section. Featuring many of the cold climated animals and episodes like "A Scary Night with a Snow Beast Fright".

I'm not sure of it's affiliation to Scooby Doo, but Wacky Races could be a decent replacement for Speedway. I don't think the Mystery Gang has been a part of it though.

It reminds me of the never built Critter Country 500 attraction.

It is possible! There is scuttlebutt of a possible Hanna Barbera Cinematic Universe. I got the quote below off the Wacky Wiki.

"Dick Dastardly (voiced by Jason Isaacs) and Muttley (voiced by Billy West) made an appearance in the Scooby-Doo feature film, Scoob!, released on May 15, 2020. Rock and Gravel Slag made cameo appearances during the prehistoric gladiator scene. Various drawings of the Wacky Racers cameo on Dick Dastardly's prison cell on the wall during the credits.

Penelope Pitstop was to appear physically as a main character interacting with Scooby and Sh@ggy according to concept art, but she instead makes a brief cameo on a video game cabinet themed around her. A film based on Wacky Races is currently in development by Warner Animation Group, although it's currently unknown if it'll be connected to Scoob!."
