Could anyone tell me if the tables that are in cars at this restaurant are just able to fit 2 people in them or are the big enough for a family of 4 to sit together? Thanks!

When we went with 3 people, 2 adults & one toddler, we were put two in the front of the car, and one in the second row. Four people would be put two in each row.

We've booked here on our first visit in a few weeks, read some mixed reviews but I think it looks great!
It is great. It's one of our favorites. Even if the food was rotten, it isn't, it would still be a good place to go.
We have two ressies there in May --one regular dinner and a Star Wars Breakfast. We did the breakfast last year, and it was so much fun.

It's a lot of fun and they have the best milkshakes!! We usually sit in a car - 2 rows, 2 in a row - but last time we were seated at a table in the back. The tables are themed and there's room for 4. At first we were disappointed, but we ended up liking it. They're better lit than the cars, too, for people who complain about how dark it is (at "night" in a drive in movie theater ). We will always hope for the cars, but the tables are fine.

One Little Spark...
There are tables, if you'd rather have a more traditional meal.

The cars are worth it though.

They come in 4 varieties of seating (iirc).

#1 - 2 "row" cars that seat 2 (or 3, if the kid is small enough) each row, making it a 4 or 5 top "table". There are 6 of these, iirc.

#2 - 3 "row" cars that seat 2 (or 3) each row, making them 6 - 8 top "tables" This is the majority. 28 of these, iirc. Also, they'll sometimes sit a group of 2 with a group of 4 in these cars, or 3 groups of 2...I've seen it (and done it) that way before, as it's normally just me and the kiddo, and it's one of our must do restaurants. So, we often get seated with other groups of 2 in a 4 top or with a family of 4 in a 6 top.

#3 - The ADA compliant "cars" which have a "hood' and a "trunk", but normal tables in the middle. They seat 8 in chairs, or two groups of 4. There are 6 of these, I believe.

#4 - The "umbrella tables". These are all the way in the back. They seat 4 - 5. There are 6 of these, iirc.

And this pic gives a good idea of scale.

We like number three the best. That way a family of four can all talk together.

For a party of two, the regular cars are the way to go.

We, a family of four, have squeezed in one row, but the kids are very petite and we don't mind sitting close. I don't like eating as a family with half the family looking at my back.

I am looking forward to eating at Sci-fi for the first time next week. However, I am confused about the menu and after research cannot locate anything. What exactly is Sci-Fi Popcorn Treat - online it calls it soup? Also, is the burger/hot dog combo no longer offered? I only see a $18 build your own burger. It looks like the menu from 2014 is much better than the current menu. Any current reviews of the food?

Me and my girlfriend ate here a few weeks ago on our vacation. We shared the Sci-Fi Popcorn treat for starter, it was a bowl of Popcorn Chicken with a bit of spice to it. It didn't resemble a soup at all but they were very good!!

I had spare ribs for main, which were ok (certainly not the best I've had at Disney though). They also dont come with fries, so if you want fries you have to order a side order. The BBQ beans were very enjoyable though. My Girlfriend had some kind of Salmon sandwich which she loved. Then we shared a Milkshake to finish on, which was amazing.

We enjoyed it. I'd say it was more about the experience then the food itself. The food was good enough but its a better experience and makes for some nice photos to show friends and family when home.

We had dinner here last week and it was good! I had the vegetarian sheppard's pie which was awesome! I'm not a veg but wanted to try soemthing different...it was more like a taco pie...beans on the bottom covered with mashed pots and chz..very good! My husband got the reuben and also liked it. Kids got burgers and fries...no complaints from them. This was our 2nd time eating here in the past few years and we would def go back;)
