For me it has to be the Banshee scene in Darby O' Gill and the Little People. I found this movie a few months ago. And it creeped me out. And I'm only 12. What do you think is the scariest moment in a Disney movie?

When I was a child ( oh at least a few years ago!!) I was terrified by the trees in Snow White, when they catch at her as she runs through the forest.

Not necessarily scary, but horrifically powerful comes to mind when I think of the "Hellfire" sequence from The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

Definitely Maleficent the dragon in Sleeping Beauty for me. My mom says that terrified her when she saw it in the theater.
Oh, and Night on Bald Mountain in Fantasia allways gave me the willies.

Definitely agree about Maleficent! I remember one night me and my brother both had a nightmare about that dragon, and convinced ourselves that since we both had it, it must of been real and not a dream! haha

The end of the wizarding duel in Sword in the Stone always had me covering my eyes as a kid. The witch was creepy and scary! Maleficent ranks up there as well.

Bambi's mother dying was pretty scary and some scenes from Fantasia were a little spooky but nothing that detractor from my overall enjoyment of the films, you know?

Oh! I forgot about the Heffalumps and Woozles! They gave me nightmares for a while. That scene in the Winnie the Pooh ride still scares me a bit
