Thought i'd share this:

I heard somewhere that if air travel continues to grow at the rate that it is now,and safety does not improve, then in ten years there will be a crash every day.

Mind you, who am I kidding. Of course safety will improve! :hammer: They're constantly making advances in safety, with all new aircraft coming out, and old ones being upgraded.

If you want to read an interesting book on the technology of commercial airliners, read "Airframe" by Michael Crichton. You'll never look at a commercial jet the same again!

Oh man! That is an awesome book!!!!! I love at the end when it says what happens to the characters after the events in the book!
