This is why I refuse to visit WDW outside of october. We have never really sen this problem and normally the pool is generally empty at first light when I'm just dipping in and out to refresh and then at midday during cooling off we have never normally had to battle for spaces!

Saving place at the pool

Nobody, well me at least, is going to have an issue with someone leaving their personal items on a chair, table, etc. while they go in and enjoy the pool and come back/forth. I take issue with the people who I've witnessed get there and leave personal items out and then leave while they go to a park, out to eat, or wherever and don't come back for a very long time while not being at the pool. We've witnessed this at both Boardwalk and Stormalong pools.
