I'm sorry to tell you, but you only have 4 signatures for your petition, I'm not sure if that's gonna do anything...To tell you the truth I was never a big fan of the ride, It scares the Willy's out of me. I hope the new ride when the refurb will be better. And how are they gonna tie the ride in with Stich?

i feel it's time for something new there. during the time I worked there, I literally became immune to it. To this day I can still sleep throughout the whole show

Disney wouldn't care about petetion launching over the net to save A.E.

I will be sad to see AE go because it was my first 'scary' ride.... but it could use some changes, You just sit there the entire time, and the compressed air effects aren't even as strong as they use to be........

If they need to do something give this ride a better storyline, and make it allitle more interesting.... For sure it would be alot better than it is...... for now i dont think a petetion will do anything...

Were all questioned on this man..... But from to what we hear it will be a Stitch Change. Probably to make the ride more family friendly....?

Now don't get me wrong... Stitch is the coolest character to come across Disney's plate in a while, and I also feel that AE is... well... lacking.

But I really don't think Stitch would solve that much. I mean a Stitch RIDE? Absolutely, but I am very hesitant on the effectiveness in throwing the little fur ball into a circular room that once was considered state of the art because it had a screen on the floor and ceiling.

This refurb is for money-making purposes only... which is a real shame because AE is one of the four things at MK that actually attracts Teens. I have a feeling this will turn into another Imagination folly.

I really hate to tell you, but internet petitions mean virtually nothing. There was recently a special on about how they've taken off, and have really affect zero decisions, because they are not really legit petitions. They can be manipulated and such, and are looked at as very untrustworthy gagues of public opinion.

AE

I loved AE when it first opened... and the wait there was amazing to see... but the people just aren't going there anymore, and I think it's time to change it up

LOL! Well, not many of the responses on this thread have been positive about AE. So I don't think I'm exactly alone in this opinion.

But to answer your question....I really am a swell guy! Really!!

So there!!!

Well, you certainly put me in MY place! (Not!)

It's not that Alien Encounter is necessarily a bad attraction. It's just that (as some have stated on this thread and others), the "show" has grown tired. It's not like other Disney attractions where you can experience it endless times and and it never gets old. Also, the experience in Alien Encounter really depends on everything working correctly. The second time I "rode" this attraction, the sound wasn't working in my seat. Well the sound is basically the heart of the attraction so it really sucked that it wasn't working! If you were to ride Rock n Roller Coaster and the sound were not working, then I'm sure it would diminish the experience, but it would still be fun!

"the "show" has grown tired"

I'm not attacking you Merlin, I'm just using your quote as a general feeling among most of the posters on this thread.

Grown Tired to WHO?!? I'm sorry, but my family cannot afford to go to Disney once or twice a year like some people on these boards. So when we do go, we don't go around nitpicking with our magnifying glasses in hand. Attractions are NEVER tiring to us, since we are even happy to be there. My family usually goes to WDW every 4-5 years. Sure, most of you would probably faint if it happened to you. Maybe some of you should try it, there are other places in the world (NOT WDW, EARTH). Give Disney a break every now and then. Then when you return you will appreciate what is sitting in the parks. You will be fine with the time and money Disney has put into their attractions. I'm just sick and tired of people who complain and complain about when "Forbidden Mountain" will be built or when "Project: Gemini" will plant it's first tree, then when you take a look at their profiles, their last trip to WDW was always less than one year ago. Try skipping WDW for a year or two (GASP), you'll appreciate what's there when you return, trust me.

:)
