For what it is worth - I thought I share my families first experience at WDW. We are new DVC members and my wife and I took on the challenge of bringing our 6 children to WDW for their first time. We stayed in the Congress Park section of Saratoga Springs. IT IS BEAUTIFUL there! And the rooms are well worth our investment, especially with a large family.
My only two disappointments were the difficulty and hassle in getting a room request filled. We never ended up with the view i really wanted but compromised on the next best thing. Second was the difficulty in taking a wide age range of children as my wife and I could spend very little time together on things and she more or less had to sit out and wait with the 2 smallest. This tends to get nerve racking and guilt sets in.
All in all we had a great time and Saratoga Springs is incredible, even not being done. I say this I see very little or mainly not so positive reviews of the resort.
