Saratoga Springs Question

With kids at Saratoga, request a room in the Paddock near the pool. It has large and small slides, a quick service counter, and its own bus stop. It worked great for our grandchildren, and we will be back there next year.

Even without kids, when we stay at SSR we visit the Paddock pool and enjoy the big slide. Our favorite is the quiet pool at Congress Park, but the other two pools are nice too. When you spend a lot of time just relaxing at the resort, it is fun to visit all the pools. Heck, we have even gone over to the little pool at the Treehouses and had it to ourselves for a few hours one morning. What a tranquil retreat.

My distinct memory from visiting SSR in April this year was seeing a snake in the walkway. First time I had ever seen a snake ‘in the wild’ - not difficult as I’m from the UK.

A snake also slithered across the path in front of my mum when she stayed there 2 years ago and last year a snake nearly got in a lift with my brother and nieces.

So yeh, watch out for those!

I think this guy was mocking us considering where he chose to hang out, but yeah, there are snakes in Florida. We see them just about every trip. This was at Marriott Lakeshore Reserve this past May.
