I've heard how great the bread service there is, but how much food is it? Should every body get their own or should we split it? What would you suggest to have besides the bread service THNX

We just went last Monday.

My wife and I shared one order bread service and one lamb shank, and there was enough naan left over to have for breakfast the next day.

So, larg-ish.

Wow both of you split 1 entrée?

The bread service is the same amount of bread whether you have 2 people or 4 (five pieces one flavor each). We were a party of 3 and there was one bread flavor we did not care for. We each ordered our own different entree and tried and finished them all. We did not find the portions overly big, unless you are a light eater.

We were a family of 3 as well last year and I am a very big eater. It was gone quickly between the 3 of us as were each entree.

It is a wonderful restaurant, and ask for a table by the window. My DW did and our DD loved it. Animals watching you eat was a trip

We get the bread service each time then something different to go with it. Last time we had the bread service with all nine accompaniments and the salad trio. Did not really care for the salad with watermelon and fennel, but the bread service is always amazing. Because some of the spicier accompaniments go a long way, we ended up ordering extra naan. We also had the dessert sampler and the two of us left there very full.

Last time I got it, I ordered it as my entire meal and ate the whole darn thing

I don't know if my pics will help, but you can try and look at other things in the background for perspective to get a better gauge on possible portioning between multiple people.

My husband and I have eaten there twice, and love the bread service. He eats most of it, but we also get that as the appetizer. I usually get the "pick two" on the menu and get the butter chicken and not sure what else.. I have also gotten the steak there and it was delicious and not dry. My husband usually gets something curried (and they have lots of options). I don't think you can go wrong there, it just depends on how adventurous and spicy you want to go with your food. Also, if you want the window seat, get there plenty early to request one, and make sure you know when the sun sets before placing your ADR. If you get there after the sun sets, make sure to go outside where they have a night vision binoculars to view the wildlife.
