Sam's $100 gift cards

My sister went to Sam's this morning and attempted to buy 7 of the $100 gift cards and was told the promotion has been pulled by disney........ Does anyone know of any other promotions for gift cards that can be used anywhere at the parks? We are so disappointed as these cards were a good deal

What promotion are you talking about? Buying the $100 gift card and getting a $10 giftcard to the Disney Store Online? Or something like that.

I read about these a year ago on this site. Sam's Club has been offering these $100 gift cards with a $10 bonus since 2010. I bought some for our last trip. Now disney has ended the promotion so you can't buy the cards anymore.

i never knew about that! Our Sam's Club has $75 Disney gift cards for like $74.95 or something...

I just got some of the $75 gift cards for $74 something at Sam's about a month ago and a vinylmation 3-D pin was attached.

I also bought a few of the $75 ones. But "sweetpea" was the one talking about buying the $100 ones and she paid for a whole trip with them. The $10 bonus cards can only be used at disney stores or online but the $100 ones could be used for your disney hotel, restuarants etc. sorry to see them go.

Yep. That was for our Sept 2011 trip last year. We did our spending $ and food $ with the $100 gift cards that cost $98.88 each and came with the $10 Disney Store gift card. It was a 14 day trip so we bought $2000 worth for $1977.60 plus had $200 to blow on parks merch online at the Disney Store site. Worked out great. Juggling the gift cards was a little bit of a hassle on the trip but we managed. Sorry to hear they ended the promotion. I thought it really was a good deal.

Know anyone in Pgh? If so, have a local go to GE to buy the gift cards (especially if double perks are being offered). The individual will probably save a few tanks of gas by doing this, so negotiate a price with that person/relative!
