That's one long list!
Here's mine, adults only:
- appropriate changes of clothing, enough for each day plus a little extra, unless you don't mind doing laundry half-way thru your trip
- extra layers for warmth, depending on the weather
- swim wear
- protection from sun - lotions, hats, etc
- toiletries (most are available at the resort for purchase if necessary)
- travel confirmations (plane, hotel, rental car, car service, DME, dining reservations, etc)
- photo ID, credit cards
- camera with necessities
- cell phone charger
- medications/prescriptions in original containers
I travel light.

I know I thought it was a little excessive too...I personally do not pack that much either! 
It just hits on a lot of areas that people may not think of, especially for the first timers! It's overwhelming enough planning a trip for the first time to The World!

Yes, and the chargers for batteries and cell phones.
What we do, so we don't forget stuff, is to start putting things for the WDW trip in a special room or place.
As we think of something, we put it there.
If it's something that we're still using then we add it to a list that's kept in that place.
Things that are easy to forget include tickets, Magical Express vouchers, cameras, and reservation numbers.
There is a Weather link at the top of this web site. It also has a 7 Day forecast. It's useful for packing if the weather appears uncertain.
