I know nothing about Sake.... Total mystery... But yeah, you have to find out what you like...Sake really runs the gamut, dry to sweet, with all sorts of other flavors in there too.
It's sort of like saying "we are going to try white wine for the first time, any suggestions?" I could pick something I enjoy, and you may hate it.
I will second the tasting area in the back of the Japan pavillion. You can read about each of the sakes they have, then taste one (some?) that seem to meet your prefrences.

Oh awesome I will have to check this out when I dine there for the first time!If you can make it over to Morimoto in Disney Springs they have a nice selection as well as a tasting flight.
