Safteytats?

Decided to order these. What a brilliant idea! One of those "why didn't I think of that" products.

A temporary tattoo made with your cell number that can be put on your children so that if they wander off, they can ask someone to call your cell phone. They will be in my Mom bag, just in case.

Got my safteytats today. I will definitely use them at Disney.

Will also use them on school field trips and trips to the zoo.

One Little Spark...
They stay on beautifully - last time we went to WDW, my kids' safety tats lasted through two baths and a swim before they needed to be replaced. They do leave a bit of a sticky dark residue when removed (like you get around the edge of a Band-Aid if you've worn it awhile), but it comes off with a little dab of rubbing alcohol (or hand sanitizer).

Good to know. My kid is a bit old for them now (she's old enough to remember phone numbers and contact information), but the first year I took her when she was 5, I was terrified we'd be separated. I so wish something like this had existed then, taking her as a single parent.

Really a fantastic product idea!

We used Safety Tats for our 22 month old grandson. We put it on the back of his upper arm. It stayed there most of the week. (We only went swimming one day though). Really good product!

We used them for our 2010 trip. I'm not sure if it was really necessary, but it was the girls' first trip and they were 4 and 2 at the time...so SafetyTats definitely gave me some peace of mind. They do stay on- actually longer than advertised.

We used them for the last trip. (The kids were 4 and 6, a little too young to remember a phone number under duress). They stayed on -- through showers and swimming- for 3-4 days and helped the kids feel more secure. We instructed them that if they got lost, they should approach a uniformed cast member with a name tag, and ask them to call our cell phone number on the tats.

The only negative about them was the blackish ring of adhesive residue that was left when they came off -- just like you see from a Band-Aid. A little rubbing alcohol took it right off.

We used them for our first trip to DL last year. This year, DS4 knows our phone number, but we'll use the tats just in case. Plus he likes the "fancy sticker", as he calls it, and has already put them in our suitcase! :)

I can't thank you enough for posting this. We always have a friend who makes bracelets make "I.C.E" bracelets (In Case of Emergency) with a contact phone number on them, but the kids play with them and lose/break them pretty easily. With this, my kids LOVE temporary tattoos, and it would be very easy to keep on!
