runDisney Considering Post-Marathon Weekend Cruise?

So I took a survey for the half and towards the end of it, this was introduced.

"We are considering hosting a special post-race cruise aboard Disney Cruise Line® for runners and their families next year. Guests can rest, relax, and recover while enjoying stops in Bahamian or Caribbean ports of call, including Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island. Special post-marathon programs and events will be included onboard."

I answered interested, but not sure if could afford or swing the extra days off for a 4 or 7 day cruise.

Would you partake in this option?

I'm planning on doing a cruise after Wine & Dine, but I couldn't get the time off for a 7-day cruise after Dopey (and anything less than 7 days isn't worth it, to me).

I would have to say no - going to Disney for a race is my vacation and not sure if I could swing the extra $ for a Disney cruise afterwards. Also if it has "runDisney" on it I bet the price is going to be ever more premium than the normal Disney Cruise.

Yeah I agree. On paper it sounds like a great way to unwind after a race but if you do Dopey then a 4 day cruise would mean you are taking a week and a half for vacation. I'd rather spend a couple extra days in the park and use less vacation days in one go.

Interesting, but wouldn't have an interest in this. I don't have kids so if I were to do a cruise I would look for one geared towards adults.
