its that time again.. for my annual holiday 5k. , which I ran last night.. kinda warm this year , but the wind was blowing so it made it kinda feel like it was cold
, its always a fun event... - everybody is decked out..
in their holiday best. last year I came in 2nd in my age group and 23rd overall ... so I was confindent that I woulkd beat that or aleast tie it.. , at the start I felt bad , bc a girl was right on my heals , and I felt her step on my shoe and down she went and mind you it was hard concrete... , all I heard was ooo from the people behind me ... I wont lie I kinda struggled this year.. , but I was being conservative bc I was nursing a injury.... and might have played it alittle too save if you know what I mean.. , but I finished this year a 2 hours slower than last year.. at 24:29 , and 4th in my age group.. I was a few mins out of 3rd... , I was kicking my self about it too... last year I finished 22nd overall , this year I finished 40th... , but this race was my last one before wdw half marathon in Jan...
