Run for the rope drop...

Well, I prefer waiting at the front of the pack than the back of it. The good news our trip is that the "run" was not bad at all for any of our days.

AK: They walk you behind a rope for EE and KS.
DHS: No pre-show and no one really running. We rode TSMM twice in Standby and once with FPs, ToT, and RnRC in 45-60 minutes of entry. That left us to the everything else with plenty of time.
MK: We were at rope drop for Belle's story time, meeting Merida, and for Space Mountain. No real big rushes or running necessary.
Epcot: We did not go on this trip. There is no real rush there. We would go to Soarin and hope my daughter will go on it.

We decided and told our daughter that there are no more Disney trips until she is ready to ride the big rides: ToT, RnRC, BTMRR, EE, Soarin. The waiting around and Parent Swap wastes a lot of time and not necessary. I do not know why she is afraid of them because every time we do get her on one, we can't get her off. I cannot tell you how many times I did Primeval Whirl (it was at least 20) and Goofy's Barnstormer (at least 15). EE and RnRC are much smoother than those rides.

Usually 30-45 mins before, depending on the predictions for crowd levels that day. I think 1 hour before is the earliest we have been. I prefer to at least be able to get through the turnstiles prior to the show starting.

Totally depends on our plans for the day. If we have breakfast at the MK before the park opens then technically we don't even see rope drop and go in before hand. Usually getting to see the welcome show anywhere is a rare thing for us just because it's not entirely worth it once you've seen it once. Usually when we see it, it's accidentally or unplanned and we just happened to all get up early. I don't think we've ever said "let's get up at x time so we can see the welcome show."
