Rumors that didn't come true.. Much to your displeasure

I was think about how often times rumors you hear on forums generally are accurate. Sometime we hear things that are absurd that end up coming true. Then, there are rumors that we are so happy about that don't happen at all...

These are mine:
Rumors that never can true that you hoped for:
1) BAH removal
2) Journey into Imagination closing in January 2014 for refurb

Rumors that I dreaded but end up coming true:
1) Toontown removal
2) Avatarland
3) Frozen Maelstrom (may be happening)
4) Polynesian lobby renovation

Any other similar experiences?

I'm going to have to go with Imagination 2014. It's like Disney expects that Soarin' alone is enough to bring substantial traffic to Future World West. (Hint: it's not)

I was very disappointed about Imagination not closing for an update.

The BAH removal I knew was not going to happen the minute the rumor surfaced. There was just no way, unless they quickly did some sort of transformation or demolition of the Chinese Theater.

The idea that Beastly Kingdom would come back

The Rsoxguy Is A Great Person Free Annual Pass. It was a major disappointment when I was slapped hard with reality on that one.

My niece Randy told me that they were going to open two new theme parks and one would be about video games and one would be all extreme thrill rides like a 1,000 foot roller coaster with 30 loops, and I was sad that this did not happen.

Monsters inc door coaster, SpectroMagic coming back

Fire Mountain. A much needed capacity thrill ride that would have gone in the expansion pad in Adventureland. Would've been awesome.

Roger Rabbit clone in DHS. Monsters Inc Door Coaster. Both these are rides this park could really use. Studios is a mess and lacks rides and things for the family/smaller crowd.

Mine:
1) A completely re-imagined Test Track refurb.
2) Monsters Inc. Coaster in HS.

Dreaded but came true:
1) Just an overlay of the original Test Track
2) Avatarland
3) Star Wars land (possibly. I don't like star wars)
4) Food Rocks closing for Soarin' (I cried in the land pavilion, I loved that show)
5) Original Tiki Room brought back. (So boring. At least the UNM show had an actual plot, in my opinion.)

Is Randy a WDW resort bus driver by chance? She certainly has the credentials.

And Spectro coming back. (I wanted to be one of those people on the spinning balls).

I'm still angry about Beastly Kingdom. But I was happy about the rumors that Avatar Land wasn't happening.

Walt being buried under Cinderella's Castle at MK. Always thought that idea was neat. I believed it when I was younger. Many still do today. Of course we know this isn't true. Walt would not be buried in Disney World. If there was anywhere it would be Disneyland. But that isn't true either.
