(RUMOR) Who's your friend who's coming to Disney World?

No Name

Obviously I wasn't there in that moment, but from the sound of it, I wouldn't consider this a rumor either. It's the typical reply any CM should give you. There are likely no real plans in place, so instead of the CM saying "no sorry, there is no hope at all," they said what they did.

Especially if the CM doesn't have a clue as to future plans, and especially if they saw that you guys are big Bing Bong fans. In any case, the CM's response was a good one. Personally, I would love to see Bing Bong, but I don't think what they said indicates a single thing.

Okay, wow. I just thought someone here might like to see what she looked like since I was lucky enough to attend. Sorry my photo skills aren't up to par.

I'll go back to lurking now...

No no, don't be discouraged. Your post (and picture) is more than perfectly fine. Thank you, as I and the majority of the people here didn't go to and have never seen pictures of that event.

There are only a handful of veteran members who would respond that way to a normal and fine post like yours, especially from a newish poster. @PhotoDave219 has valuable opinions and says a lot of good things, but this is just part of his personality. It's what makes him who he is, an whether good or bad, it makes him unique. After 13 years and 25K posts, I might be cranky too :D.

I just hope it doesn't scare others away.

I get that some of you are overly obsessed with specific cartoon characters and all(Oswald, Marie, Todd, Nick Wild, now Bing Bong) But could yall calm it down a tad?

I'm not sure 15 minutes of screen time justifies a $10,000+ costume.

Actually, I counted it and he's on screen for twenty two minutes. Despite his limited screentime, he had a bigger role than Disgust, Anger or Fear did in the film. His merchandise was very popular and became one of the hot items of the holiday 2015 season. Many young children know who he is (a lot of kids in the 2-7 demographic noticed my Bing Bong mouse ears on the trip I'm currently on, and I've heard many kids outside of Disney sing his song).
Due to the above reasons, I honestly believe that this adorable goofball might have a chance of being at the parks.

It's not happening. Period.

It's hard enough to see MAIN characters from the movies in the parks. We already don't have villains, so it could be lobbied long and hard, but it'll go nowhere. As others have said, special events that are either upcharge or "member only" or corporate events would be the only way to see him if he existed and even then it's not guaranteed what characters you'll come across.

There are more characters that are in higher demand as well. With Disney cranking the movie machine, more characters are surely on the way, but not Bing Bong.

...... Because there's oh so much difference between 15 & 22 minutes of screen time.

I had more of an emotional connection with Lewis Black.
