Rumor of Disney Park in Missouri, or any park!

I have been reading on a thread about some rumors of a bunch of land being purchased in MO by Disney for a 5th park. Here is a link that shows not only is this debunct but there is no record of any park operation posing ANY interest in this land. This very may well have been a ploy by the land developers to sell this piece of grassland at optimum price by creating some buzz about it's "sellability".

I have tried to post this on the original thread for those of you whom are interested, but that thread is closed, so this is just a BTW.

A similar article was posted in the closed thread, which was the reason for closing the thread. Nothing further to discuss....at least until the rumor starts circulating again, as it always does. :lol: (Only the names are changed)

This is new information I thought people would like to see. This debunkts any rumor that any park is planned for that area.

The article posted in the other thread also debunked the rumor, so this thread has nowhere to go, either.

But thanks for posting from a different source; I hope this will convince people to take these rumors with a grain of salt.

As far as the rumor itself goes, is it just me or does it seem like these pop up every year around this time? Last few ones I saw were about Texas, now we've moved to Missouri - In a few years we should be talking about the "rumored" disney park here in Ohio.
