A CM on MiceChat always keeps us up to date with refurbs, and they've been correct each time. This CM has stated another long Indy refurb is coming up next March, from the third until April 23, roughly six or seven weeks. @lego606 Do you happen to know anything about this?

Another refurbishment never hurts.

That is an odd season to take down Indy, Spring Break/Easter, so many kids. September, January seems like better months for a kiddy rehab.

Indy has a 46 inch height requirement, 6 inches taller than Space Mountain or Star Tours. It's not really a "kiddy" ride.

And September and January already have rehabs for Space Mt., Haunted Mansion and Small World on the books each year. March/April is a good enough time as any for a big Indy rehab. There are plenty of other E Tickets in Anaheim to soak up the crowds.

My kids rode with us in Indy from the time they were little, we had no desire they did. They loved it when small. Frankly by the time they could drive Indy they were about over it. The average age for a girl to hit 46 inches is 5, a boy at 5 is 45 3/4. I disagree, I don't view Indy as a teen or adult ride, but everyone has their own interpretations of what demographic an attraction is geared for.

Are we talking about the same Indy? This response makes it sound like you are referring to the attraction where the kids can drive the cars (Autopia at Disneyland, Tomorrowland Speedway at Magic Kingdom) and not to the Indiana Jones Adventure at Disneyland...

Just checking.

Well you can kind of *drive* .....

I remember my first ride on IJA ...i was thrilled to have the seat behind the wheel so i could *drive* the Transport.
Unfortunately the other Guests riding in the back did not like my driving...thought i was a little rough behind the wheel when it came to steering.
Kept asking me post-ride why i went down through that cave full of skulls and the temple full of snakes.
That was back in 2007, and i was all of 36.

Must have had one too many Dole Whips at the Tiki Room....

Indy doesn't save us on the ride. He's actually somewhat unheroic and out of character. We first see him holding back the aurora borealis (?) behind the, uh, gates of doom. Okay, he does direct us which way to go. He then abandons us when a giant snake shows up. The last time we see him he's inexplicably hanging above the transport and asking us for help.

That's because he's off protecting you from an even BIGGER creature that he keeps away from your vehicle... just imagine what that one would look like!

Next time I'll open the Gates of Doom for you....
