Rumor about a girl losing her leg

I heard a rumor in MGM on Thursday. I heard a few groups talking about it in line, but I saw nothing in the papers about it.
They were saying that a 12 yo girl lost her leg in an accident on a rocket ride when somthing let go and hit her leg.

I don't even know what park. The only rocket ride I know of is on top of the people mover in MK , but I am no expert on WDW rides.

Did anyone hear of this ?:shrug:

You might be talking about the girl who lost her feet at Six Flags a couple of days ago. There are plenty of threads about on here.

I believe it was at six flags in kentucky a girl was riding the superman ride when a cable came loose and severed her foot. it was on the local and national news here where i live in illinois, i think it happened last week sometime not totally for certain though.

It was in Kentucky at Six Flags. It is however already out in urban legend type strories as a Disney incident. My family and I were at WDW when the incident occured and saw it on the news. We had barely gotten home when I had people calling to ask if we were saw the girl's legs get cut off. I of course said no since that was in Kentucky and we were in Florida it would have been difficult for us to see.
