Royal Pacific Refurb

I know this has been discussed before, but does anyone know when the refurb will be complete? We stayd this summer in a refurbed room in tower 1 and it was really nice. Going back in January. Would like to have a refurbished room again, and that would be easiest if all are complete.

When I went three weeks ago they were working slowly so as to have minimal impact on the other rooms so I doubt it will be complete by January. I just asked for a refurbed room at check in and there was no problem so just ask for one. They are very accommodating

Thanks that is slow. We were there in January and there was some noise during the day that as annoying while trying to take an afternoon nap. (it's vacation after all!). But otherwise nothing to see. In august we were in a newe room and no sign of construction at all. Hard to believe they are stretching this out over a year. (Equally hard to believe that we'll have gotten three visits on our power pass!)

I asked and ended up on the 6th floor of tower one and no signs or sounds of construction at all. Spent 5 days and was very happy. I do think the lobby has to be on the agenda at some point, the fabric of the seating and the carpet is pretty worn but it gets a lot of traffic.
