Rope Drop On Extra Magic Hours

Hi

I am travelling to the World in December for my honeymoon and just wondered if somebody can help me. We wanted to go to Magic Kingdom on our first morning and see the welcome ceremony at rope drop. It is apparently early extra magic hours on our first morning. Does that mean that they cancel the rope drop ceremony or is it at extra magic hours opening time?

Not to my knowledge,we done rope drop several times in July this year at MK.Just get there for 7.30am if it's a 8.00am entry.

There is an abbreviated version of the opening ceremony on EMH mornings. To see the full thing you will need to go during a regular opening.
