Rooms with 3 Beds

Hi

I've been looking around at the Disney World website. I'm trying to find a room which contains 3 beds for adults.

Are the rooms with Bunk beds suitable for adults or just children? I've been looking at a cabin at Fort Wilderness with the two queen beds and bunk beds.

Any input would be great!

Cheers

If it is only 3 adults, some deluxe rooms have 2 queens and a day bed. DVC 2 bedroom villas will have 2 queens and 1 king. Can't help on the bunks. We always go for the 2 br. dvc villas.

It depends on the size of the adult, really. I'm an adult, but I'm 4'11" and therefore child-sized. Adults have slept in the bunkbeds; if they were comfortable or not, I don't know.

A cabin at Fort Wilderness also has a murphy bed (pulls out of the living room wall).

Some other options for you are one of the deluxe resorts with two queen beds and a twin sofa (Polynesian, Contemporary, Grand Floridian, Boardwalk, Yacht & Beach Club), a deluxe room at the Wilderness Lodge or Animal Kingdom Lodge (two queens & a pull-out sofa, or one queen, pull-out sofa, and bunkbeds), and a suite at the All-Stars (one bed and various pull-outs).

Wow - Didn't think I would get 2 responses in less that 10 mins! This is great!

At the moment I am liking the look of a cabin. It will be myself and two of my work mates and want something relativly cheap.

We are going to be in Orlando 16-30 Sept and the cabin is going to cost us $4001 for the two weeks. Do disney offer discounts for annual passholders? I'm a passholder even though it like in the UK - sad i know :ROFLOL:

I have a look att the other hotels you've suggested - really $4000 is our max budget.

Disney does offer nice hotel discounts for Annual Passholders. I don't know if the rates for September have been released yet; check-out mousesavers.com.

We stayed at the cabins last year. The bunk beds are big enough for an adult. The only problem is, on the bottom, at tall person could hit their head sitting up. Also, the bunk beds and full bed are much more comfortable than the murphy bed. The cabins are great fun. You would love staying there. Be sure to rent a golf cart.

Cheers for all the advice - been a great help. We all like the idea of the cabin so I'll think we'll go with that.

I've seen a lot of people mention the golf carts, do Disney off other transport around fort wilderness as well? Just that i've seen the golf carts are $44 and for 14 days its a lot of money!

There are two bus routes at Ft. Wilderness, interior (middle of campground) and exterior (loop around the outside). If you are in the middle you would possibly have to take 2 buses to get to the stops that service the parks. If you rent a cart, you can just drive straight to the stops. Plus, it's a lot of fun. It is on the expensive side, so maybe you could rent one for a week. If you decide to, make sure to make your reservation well in advance.

Cabins

We love the cabins also, but you wrote two queen beds. The cabins have full size beds not queen so just so you know, I don't want you to be disappointed when you get there.

You may also want to check out the value suites at the ASM resort, they sleep 5 and have a small kitchenette. They seem pretty roomy and could accomidate 5 with no problem.

The words relatively cheap - and Wilderness Lodge cabins don't really go together.

The least expensive option is going to be the All Star Music Family suites - they offer 2 queen beds and two single pullouts and you'll get two bathrooms and a kitchenette. All in all when you want the deal - that's the best way to go and still get a good amount of space. :)

Fort Wilderness Cabins, not Wilderness Lodge. :lookaroun

I'll agree that the suites sound like a better deal.
