Room Requests at POP

We have booked a standard room at the POP. We would like to put in a request for a lake view in the 60's or 50's building. What is the best way to put in a request. We realize they do not have to honor it but no harm in asking.

You can call Central Reservations and have that exact note put in your reservation.

Rooms with a decent lake view are in Buildings 3 (50's), 4 & 5 (60's) and 6 (70's).

Call the 407-W-DISNEY and let them know. Please note that the 60s buildings are considered preferred rooms so you would not be placed in those buildings unless you paid for the upgraded category. The 50s however are standards.

I requested a room in the 50's on the lower level closest to classic hall...And they tell me what I requested everytime I made a payment for my room..

Actually, unless the map that I've seen of the Preferred rooms at Pop have changed, only 2/3 of the rooms in the 60's buildings are Preferred (which make up 50% of the Preferred inventory). The back sides facing the lake are not Preferred. (At least they didn't used to be)

The remaining 50% of Preferred rooms are the rooms closest to the main building in Buildings 1, 3, 6 and 10.

thanks everyone. We put in our requests for top floor lake view in buildings 3 4 5 and 6 figured if we are not extremely specific we have a better chance of getting it.

Just call them and put in your request. If u check in and don't like the room ask if there are other rooms available.
