Room Request BLT

We are staying at BLT in March 1 BR Magic Kingdom view. Any suggestions of rooms to request. Anyone Know of any sites with room maps or layouts?

Also check in? is it at Contemporary or does BLT have its own?

Heard top of World lounge has limited seating and hard to get into. Any thoughts?

BLT Request...

We stayed at BLT (our home resort) this past November and it's FABULOUS!!! Check in is at the Contemporary. Not certain about room/resort map but we stayed in a "standard view" studio and we still had a view of the lake & of part of the Contemporary tower. If you are considering Top of the World all you need to do is check in at the front counter IN BLT (there is a desk w/ a cast member posted there to take your "reservation). ENJOY!!!!:wave:

Just got back on the 9th from a stay at BLT - its a fabulous resort.

Check in at the Contemporary.

The DVC site had pictures of the rooms, if you are familiar with DVC one bedrooms, the livign room area is a bit larger - wider due to the angling of the room and longer as the balcony is outside the master bedroom; master bedroom is a little smaller than other DVC one bedrooms. When you walk in the front door, the second bathroom is in the entrance hallway and on the other side is a closet and the w/d closet.

We really enjoyed the layout of teh one bedroom and the shower in the master bathroom is really nice.

Also with Top of the World, the numbers are limited, we had no problems but it was a slow week. You need to show your room key with DVC on it at the BLT lobby and then they escort you to the elevator to go up. It was an awesome view and the lounge was beautiful.

Since we already booked a Magic Kingdom view I think the request will be what ever the highest 1 bedroom they can give me? Any thoughts?

I know they can't guarantee it but we are 4 and 0 at BCV room requests they haven't failed us yet! Even got the room we wanted at Saratoga (but will never stay there again) Member services has always come through on our room requests, especially Beach Club. BC4L (Beach Club For Life) Maybe BLT will change my mind......

We have an 11 night trip ( 1br) booked for the end of Oct into Nov at the beach club, I am hoping at my 7 month window to sneak a few night in at BLT. Even if its just a studio, keeping my fingers crossed til March.

We have been fortunate with requests, I usually mail a letter with 5 rooms in order of preference and then fax down a couple of days before. They have been great.

we have a res. for a dedicated 2 BDR MK view and asked for the highest floor possible. Whether we get it or not will be ok either way. We're at WDW! We CAN'T WAIT TO BE THERE....MAY 7-15, 2010!!!!!! LESS THAN 3 MONTHS AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
