Hi-
Can anyone explain why the room rate increases so much when you add an infant? They're not full-sized.....When booking, if you don't indicate that an infant is traveling, will there be issues when you check-in? Please note that I've never traveled with a baby before, that's why I'm asking.

thanks!!

Room rates do not increase at all when traveling with an infant. I'm not sure what you're seeing, but infants are free.

If you're staying at a Disney resort, I believe the rate only goes up if you have more than 2 in your party who are 17 and over.

Ok, now there is some weird Friday the 13th funny business happening.o_O I kid you not, initially when I selected a hotel with only 2 adults, the prices were lower, I added the baby, page refreshed and the rate changed significantly... but now it 's not happening. Guess it was a fluke. Thanks anyway!!!

I think something was up with the website. Initially, the room rates were ridiculously low for 10/24-10/30. For Ex- Campgrounds were $49 a night and Port Orleans was showing @ $170-ish a night. It seems to have worked itself out though.
Thanks!!

I have seen prices vary over the course of a day on the website, once when I had a reservation there was a price drop that lasted for less than 24 hrs but I was able to cancel my original reservation and save some cash

Any time you're on a travel site researching prices and make a change, the rate will be different. Clear your cache and cookies in between each search. ;) Children are free at Disney in both the resorts and parks until they reach age 3. They are charged a lesser rate until they reach the age of 10, then they are charged as an adult. FYI - for fire codes and safety reasons - always list everyone on your resort reservation.
