Hi there, going to Disney end of March for 7 nights with husband and my 2 boys, age almost 3 and 5. Been there several times as a kid and teen, once with husband, once for a day trip with 1 son, but this is the first full WDW vacation as family. its been very overwhelming and I don't know where to start. Room is booked, flight booked. My next thing is to buy tickets, probably at undercovertourist, but then after that not sure what to do.

Things I would love advice on: what to pack, what activities to book ahead (fyi my son is not too interested in character dining!), FOOD--do I send a care package, bring food in a suitcase?, how many days ticket to buy?, and on our last day our flight doesnt leave till 9:00 pm so what can we do until then?

thanks so much!!

My next thing is to buy tickets, probably at undercovertourist, but then after that not sure what to do. Join mousesavers.com and sign up for the newsletter immediately. There will be a discount code in the newsletter to buy even cheaper tickets from undercover tourist. Newsletter will come out on the 15th, so hurry.

Things I would love advice on: what to pack mousesavers has a great packing list. I have never once forgotten something at home.

what activities to book ahead (fyi my son is not too interested in character dining!), FOOD--do I send a care package, bring food in a suitcase? - start reading menus online. allearsnet, wdwinfo.com all have menus. Pick counter service and table service places that appeal to you. If you want to bring your own food, you can mail a package to your disney resort, stop at a grocery store, bring your own or order online from garden grocer.

Buy tickets for 5 days. Your kids might be too young to visit the parks every day and they might need a rest day where you hang at your hotel/pool. You can easily add more days to your tickets while you are there. You can do anything on your last day. Visit a park, mini golf, Downtown Disney etc. 9 pm is a full day.
