All right, I'll be honest, this isn't about WDW but it is about TDL but it's usually pretty quiet in that forum. Try to think of this as a WDW situation!
Next April my wife and I are lucky enough to be able to visit TDL for 3 or 4 days. We thought we would make the trip special and stay at the Mira Costa hotel (one of the Disney hotels which definitely falls into the Deluxe category). As a bit of background, this hotel is actually inside DisneySeas (I suppose a little like the Disneyland Hotel is at DLP). Obviously you can have park views or a no park view. In this case I think we will be having a park view.
However, you can pay extra and have a great view! This includes (I think) being able to watch the night-time shows from your room.
So, for those of you who have had great views from any Disney hotel (GF, Poly, Contemporary, BLT, Disneyland Hotel etc), is it worth paying the extra for an amazing view. Keep in mind that we will only be there for 3 nights and chances are we will still be in the parks for the shows which might make it a little pointless. I do however look forward to waking up and looking out over arguably Disney's most detailed and breath-taking park.
