I've done my research and I think I know where I want to stay. But every single time I think I know where I want to stay, another property calls my name!!! Yes I know I can come back, but this is for a SPECIAL occasion.

In your humble opinion, what is the most romantic Disney property (for two Disney fanatics, of course!) and why? I'm leading toward the Grand Floridian, but I would like your advice, whether it is the same property or another, and whether you have had good service or bad. Even room recommendations would be welcome! Concierge vs not. You know the drill! :wave:

There are a bunch of romantic resorts on property... but, personally, I'd agree with your choice of the Grand Floridian. It's a very Grand, and Elegant resort... beautifully decorated...

What I would try and do, is get a lagoon view room overlooking the MK with a balcony... yes, I know, it's pricey... but it's worth it. You'll be able to watch the fireworks from your room... or gaze up at the Castle as it changes colors...

Victoria & Albert's is also a GREAT place to celebrate a special occasion... VERY romantic...

You will LOVE the Grand Floridian...

Couldn't agree more. Stay at the Grand Floridian, it is very romantic. I've been there twice and loved it.

I would vote for the Polynesian. The views from the beach at nightime are amazing. You can watch the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom. The music and atmosphere are at nightime are very romantic.

I would go with the Polynesian. Very romantic and very relaxed. We stayed there on our honeymoon and loved it.

I haven't stayed at the Grand Floridian so I can't tell you what it is like to stay there. It is a beautiful hotel to visit but the Polynesian is more in line with my tastes.

How bout WL? I love it there,I think the hot tub is cool . I'll let cha know in Dec. when i go...... But all....in all... I think everything Disney is romantic! That's where I fell in love with my sweetheart......(for the million'th time):animwink:

Actually, AKL is really nice also especially if you are really into wildlife. But I still think the Polynesian is the most romantic one in my book.

I like the Polynesian, I haven´t seen AKL, but I think I would go towards The Boardwalk, just because of the place at nights... it´s so nice and everything is within a walking distance. Take your gf´s hand and take a walk around it! aaahhh

I agree Steve. the Polynesian is a great resort for a romantic stay. I cant speak from personal experence but all of my friends who have stayed there loved it and after seeing Steve's site I agree even more.

The Polynesian gets my vote. The Grand Floridian is lovely but there's something about the tropical feel that makes us want to have **x on the beach over at the Poly. heck I could never go the parks and just stay in my room if it was up to me:animwink:
