I will be going to WDW in September with my boyfriend (who is NOT a disney fan, but is putting his ill feelings aside to make me happy) What are some things that we can do that are romantic but not too cheesy??? Any suggestions are welcome, especially ones that aren't obvious (such as fireworks dinner at the california grill) note: We are staying on-site at Port-Orleans Riverside and will be using disney transportation to get around) :)

Meega, nala kwishta!
I read on another thread about this same subject that I think my wife and I will try next time down. Take a boat ride on "Breathless" to the Illuminations show. That sounded fun and romantic.

How could I forget about Cirque Du Soleil! It´s an amazing show! Well worth the money!
Take your bf there Jodigrl, you will feel as if you were in Vegas or Broadway instead of Disney! ;)

Perhaps you could go to dinner in France in Epcot. It is very romantic and you will feel just like you are in Paris.

After dinner you could get some champagne and either take a boat over to the Boardwalk or you could even take a stroll (maybe more like a walk) to Boardwalk. You could head towards the Boardwalk via the Yacht and Beach Club along the beach and go around the lagoon to Boardwalk. This can very romantic at night.

Once you get to the Boardwalk you could sit on a bench and relax and share a desert or an ice cream from one of the shops along the Boardwalk.

You can take disney transportation to Epcot and take transportation back from Boardwalk.

Disney can be very romantic.

Went there on our honeymoon and are headed there in 3 weeks alone (no kids) for our tenth anniversary.

Can't wait.

Enjoy yourselves.

3 years ago my husband & I had dinner at Victoria & Alberts in the Grand Floridian. Very romantic along with excellent food. Be warned though it is very expensive, probably the most expensive Disney resturant, but well worth it! It's for adults only. You receive a preprinted personalized menu as a souvenier along with a red rose. The couple sitting next to us got engaged as we were eating. Dim lighting and very quiet. If I remember correctly men are required to wear jackets. Have fun whatever you choose! :)

Victoria and Albert's is the way to go! I took my at the time girlfriend there, than we went out to the beach after dinner and I proposed to her. It was very peaceful and secluded. And the water pagent came by afterwards. You could atleast sit out on the beach at night. It doesn't get much more romantic than that.
