ANybody out there willing to help a noob? Just purchased this game and trying to figure out how hard it is to create custom scenery.

That looks awesome. Everything in there seems like except the scorching hot pavement.:)

I started playing the game again actually. I played RCT3 a lot when it came out but I had the expansion packs still in their original box. Now I got them all installed and looking through all the available attractions, it's really awesome. Especially with the nighttime lighting, which is my favorite.

If you really want to make detailed recreations, especially roller coasters, I'd go with NoLimits. Compare a RCT3 recreation of Space Mountain with the one from NoLimits at www.spacestation77.com and you'll see a huge difference. Of course you'll need to know CG modeling and texturing (which coincidentally is what I went to college for), if you wanna get really detailed. RCT3 is good for making general amusement parks and things, but it's not really a "recreation" game.
