DD has come home from school today saying that the Maths department at her school are planning a visit to DLP to study Rollercoaster Maths. Is this a hoax? Has anyone ever heard of this? I can't find any details on Disney's website?

Any ideas/opinions?

Thanks

I attended an it conference there and we had a talk through of the launch mechanics of both RNR and SM... :)

It's probably true. A friend of mine was taken to DLP during A-Levels to study the physics of roller coasters. Basically it was a two minute "look at the roller coaster" lecture follwed by enjoying the parks for the rest of the day / weekend.
