Roller Coasters, MNSSHP, and Character Stalking September PTR/TR

I just finished up my first ever Trip Report of my first ever trip to Disney World only a month or so ago and here i am writing my first ever PTR for my second trip to Disney. To check out my December 2010 trip report click here http://forums.wdwmagic.com/showthread.php?t=708766 I enjoyed my first trip so much that a week or two after we got back i booked a trip for this September. We hit the December 20th deadline so we were lucky to get free dining. We chose September so we could attend MNSSHP and experience nicer weather this time.

I have four goals for this trip:

1. Ride all the roller coasters. My first trip consisted of Me, my boyfriend ( roller coaster wuss) and our just turned 3 year old son who wasn't quite tall enough or ready to do the rollercoasters. This year were adding my brother-in-law to the mix who isn't scared of anything so he'll be my partner in crime.

2. Attend MNSSHP. On our first trip we did MVMCP and it was a blast. I'm really excited about MNSSHP. I love Halloween and can't wait to find costumes for us to wear.

3. Character Stalking. We never did the autograph thing on our first trip. This time i'm going all out and making my own autograph book and am going to get as many as i can.

4. WWOHP. I'm a big Harry Potter fan. We never left Disney property last time. This time i'm dedicating two days to Universal so i can definately get it WWOHP.

So our little family taking on this adventure will be myself ( Becki -29), my boyfriend ( Chris - 30), our son (Cohen -3) and my boyfriends brother (Jeff -21). We will be staying at POP Century September 12th - 20th. I heard great things about this resort. We purchased our plane tickets back in January and got an awesome deal with Air Canada of only $400 a ticket. Taxes in. Plus no luggage fees for our first piece of luggage. So were all booked and putting money on our remaining Disney balance every month.

Day 4 Epcot

We had breakfast reservations for Cape May Cafe but decided to cancel and have a sleep in day. It was our day for Epcot and it was extra Magic Hours for the evening so we wanted to be all rested up. When we entered the park there was a little blue guy waiting for us with no line.

After seeing Stitch we headed right to The Seas With Nemo and friends, Cohens favorite in Epcot. Then we went to the Test Track. There was only a 20 minute wait and we have never been on it before. Me and Cohen did it once, we werent too crazy with the jerking and when it went fast. Chris and Jeff went on it 3 or 4 times with hardly any wait. We also went on Soarin for the first time and it was unbelievable. I can see why the lines get so long. We went on it 3 times with hardly a wait. The first time on we were right at the front with no dangling feet in front of us and it was amazing. Cohen still talks about it.

We went to the Imagination Pavillion and did Journey Into the Imagination. I know a lot of people don't care much for this attraction but we really enjoy it. We took a walk through Image Works and got Cohens picture taken with a background of Mickey driving in a car and had it made into a puzzle. What a great souvineer. cohen loves putting it together and when he's older we can put it in a frame and keep it.

After Imagination we got on a monorail and made our way over to The Grand Floridean to have dinner at 1900 Park Fare. I was excited to meet the Prince!

After Drizella came by i noticed Anastacia was quite a bit aways from our table so i took the chance to go up to the buffet to get more of the salmon. It was delicious! When i was up there i heard this high pitched voice screetching someones name but i couldn't make it out. As i headed back to the table i seen Anastacia there staring at me with her hands on her hips. Aparently she was yelling my name and i got in trouble for leaving the table before i got there. Chris and Jeff were laughing so hard they were crying.

We were just going to take a quick walk around the countries but ended up getting Cohen a Duffy bear on a stick from the Kidcot Spot in Mexico and after he decorated it wanted to go around all the countries and get his bear stamped. So we went all around the world with him. The only country that didn't have someone at the kidcot spot was at the American Adventure. What a great keepsake for him. He got the stamp from the country and some put his name or hello in their language. This was so much fun. During our voyage around the world we did the Gran Fiesta Tour and Maelstrom.

Day 5 Animal Kingdom and Mickey's Backyard BBQ

We probably wouldn't have went to Animal Kingdom because it was Chris's least favorite park because he finds it so hot. I however loved our last breakfast at Tusker House so i added it to our intinarary. Once again it did not disappoint. We had an 8am reservation so the restaurant was not very crowded yet which gave us a lot of interaction with the characters. The food was delicious! The chef came out to talk to us about the food because of Cohen's peanut allergy and gave him a bunch of peanut free snacks and cookies to take with us when we left so Cohen could have snacks during the day while walking around the park.

We headed right over to Kali River Rapids. Me and Cohen went on twice which surprised me because Cohen doesn't like being splashed or getting water in his face. We had on ponchos so we wouldnt get wet so that might have helped. Chris and Jeff went on like 6 times. No waiting, a walk on every time. While they were doing that Cohen played with some fountains.

That night we were off to Mickeys Backyard BBQ. We did it last time and had a great time. We took a bus over to The Magic Kingdom then took a boat over to Fort Wilderness. I love being out in the water. Even better on the way back when the resorts are all lit up.

I wanted to get there early because last time the characters were signing autographs. Didn't get there early enough as we got in line they were just leaving.

After we ate Cohen got up and danced with Mickey and followed him around for the rest of the evening. He would not leave his side.
