Rollaway beds?

Hi,

Does anyone know if you can get a rollaway bed In a studio in SSR or OKW.

We are a party of 2 ad 2 ch 2&10 but the 2 ch cannot share a bed and we don't want to have to sleep 1 ad 1 ch, that's not a holiday for us especially for 14 nights. The 2yo won't sleep in a pack and play either, unless you can get a proper cotbed?

I've looked at the BC, which is where I really want to stay, but if we can't then these were my next choices.

Unless you can still get a rollaway in the PORS? Or are they all Murphy beds now? I don't like the look of them and it looks like you loose a lot of drawer space. And can you get a murphy bed in Mansions? I would lump it if it were in that area!
But for the price difference, it's cheaper to do SSR and OKW than PORS for us in the UK.

I wish there were more resorts that had bunk beds, this would be great for a lot of families I would imagine. I looked at WL and AKL but the don't appeal to me, for the money I'd rather do the BC.

Can't really help you with your question, sorry - not sure about the roll away beds.

I know you say you looked at AKL and it doesn't interest you. I felt the same way at first, actually! I visited AKL one day (for dinner at Boma) and spent a lot of time at the resort watching the animals with the night vision goggles. While I thought the resort was quite unique and I really enjoyed watching the animals, the resort just didn't appeal to me. Fast forward a couple of years and we bought into DVC. Our first trip we decided to stay at Kidani Village (part of AKL) b/c the points were cheaper and we were trying to save them for another upcoming trip. Well, three trips later and they've all been at Kidani and we can't imagine staying anywhere else. We fell in love with the place... really in love!

So if you can't get want you want at the other resorts and AKL is in the budget... give it a try! You may just like it too...
