I think the dip truck and the weasles car are both on the backlot tour in the car graveyard. as for the steamroller in the store, i don't remember if it was from the movie or not. (but yes, it makes for a great photo! hehe)

Yea, the store has a steamroller, but I'm not sure if it's from the film. The store is the one across from the Honey, I Shrunk the Kids playset, and near the exit of the tram tour. It used to be themed to roger rabbit (similar to the ACME wharehouse from the movie) then it was changed to a goosebumps theme, now it is sort of a cross between the two, with leftovers. Too bad a real Roger Rabbit attraction never made it to the Studios!

Lately, Roger (but mostly Jessica) has been making a comeback at DL in merchandise, but I haven't seen much of anything at WDW. They have made several pins of Jessica in the past year. The world of Disney at WDW has a 15th anniversary watch with a figurine of Jessica, Roger, and Benny. I also found a Roger Rabbit stuffed animal at Disneyland this summer, as well as a pullback car, but that was it. Disneyland also released one of those Toontown Holiday Houses of the Ride building from DL. I also think Jessica and Benny WDCC figurines are coming out this year.

Roger's actually wholly owned by Amblin, with Disney, Universal, and Warner Bros entitled to licensing rights.

This is incorrect. According to the U.S. Copyright Office, Roger Rabbit is jointly owned by the Walt Disney Company and Amblin.

I believe the steamroller by the HISTK playground is from the Roger Rabbit movie. I distinctly remember it and all of the Acme boxes that would make silly noises when you opened them from my very first WDW trip in May '89, and information about the movie all around that area. Isn't the body outline still on the floor?

The deal in the beginning was for Roger to be owned 50/50 between Spielberg and Disney. I'm not sure if that has changed at all, but thats what I read anyways.

The steamroller was defenetly in the movie! There was the dipmobile, but there was also a steamroller in the final scenes of the movie that runs over Judge Doom.

Just look for Acme. Anything in Disney that references Acme is from Roger Rabbit. Acme is purely a Warner Brothers false company name. Ajax is Disney's. :)

Lets get our jargon right, you Disney illiterate people..it's not a steamroller, it's the DIPMOBILE! :) :) :) :)

if i remember correctly (i could be wrong) it *is* just a steamroller, and that the dipmobile was on the backlot tour, not in the store... but i don't know for sure.

The DIPMOBILE is along the tram tour, along with the Trolley (red car) and some cars. They are still there, even though they have been moved.
The STEAMROLLER is in the area in front of the HISTA playstet.

Just to make sure everyone knows for the 1,988th time:

Yes, in the original plans for the Disney-MGM Studios Roger Rabbit was planned to share a ride with his good trash-talking, horserace-betting, cigar-smoking friend Baby Herman. It was planned to be a simulator ride, like Star Tours and Body Wars. And I believe the talks with Steven Speilberg fell through, so there was no Roger Rabbit Ride. But he did make appearances in the Easter Parade, and once had his own float.
