ROE; What Happened?!?!

I saw ROE on January 11. It's without a doubt my favorite night time show but on this night it was severely disappointing. I know this show from beginning to end and there were a lot of mishaps.

1. Inferno Barge - ignited as always after the first couple of pops but.....that was it. Nothing after that. Chaos is far less chaotic without it and became kind of boring.

2. As Celebration began, the very high white fireworks at the cymbol crash/roll weren't white. They were gold and far less dramatic in the way they unfolded to the music.

3. We Go On - after the globe opened and the torch rose up nothing happened. No flame on the torch and no sparks shooting up on the musical cue.

4. Finale - I noticed a lot of louder than usual explosions as the white shells were being fired at the end. I looked at where they were being launched from and a lot of them were exploding at the base and falling into the water without making it off the ground.

Did ROE experience some cutbacks in the materials they use or did I just catch a really bad showing???

1. Sounds like a tech issue.
2. Various pyro products are in short supply due to issues with suppliers in China. They are having to use substitutions in various places.
3. Tech problem.
4. Same as number 2.

I assume you are speaking of the white cascades used during home? They were using only 1 instead of 4 of them as recently as recently as the 6th. Are they now gold? Maybe left over from PoE.

The white balls used during the We Go On finale tend to misfire at times. Most notably being in the past couple of weeks.

As for cutbacks, there aren't any. RoE is still suffering from shortages of product.

Sounds just like a technical issue, nothing to worry about, I was watching the show a couple of days before Christmas and the globe actually switched on about a minute and a half to two minutes late. (It had already travelled across the lake in to the middle and then flash switched on).

Another issue I have had a couple of times this last December was the area BGM, during the show the BGM was not switched off around the World Showcase so we had the Christmas BGM blaring out of some speakers and Illuminations out of the others, it was quite confusing. On one occasion, Illuminations was half way through the show before they realised and turned off the BGM

But hey, it happens, I am not going to loose sleep.

As said above, techy issues and shortages. Before christmas in the same week there was another globe that was dark until parked (I assume so the driver could do a manual reboot) and one night no inferno barge; I`ll have to look at the video closely but I think I mean no as in not there; the ALF comet bursts were missing too.
